Barcelona winger, Lamine Yamal, will wear a new shirt number at the club from the 2024/2025 season.

According to ESPN, the 17-year-old will be handed the no.19 shirt, which is the same number he wears for Spain.

Yamal played last season with a youth team registration and will be officially promoted to the first team ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

This will mean a new shirt number for the teenager, who dazzled as La Roja won Euro 2024.

Yamal has now chosen the No. 19 shirt amid much speculation and anticipation over whether the wonder kid would take over the legendary No. 10 shirt, famously worn by Messi.
