Former Newcastle United captain, Alan Shearer, has predicted Sunday’s Euro 2024 final between England and Spain.

Shearer, speaking on Betfair, said he has “a feeling” Gareth Southgate’s men will win the game.

The Three Lions are looking to win a major trophy on foreign soil for the first time in their history.

“I’m going to go for an England win. It really can happen.

“We are playing against the best team of the tournament, but I just have a feeling that we’ll have enough to win,” Shearer said.

England played in the final of the last European Championship, but lost to Italy on penalties.
