Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has backed England to beat Netherlands when both teams clash in tonight’s UEFA Euro 2024 semi-final tie in Dortmund, Germany.

Ferdinand believes the Netherlands are ‘worse than’ England in terms of performance at the ongoing Euro 2024 so far.

Both teams had booked their places at the semifinal stage after beating the likes of Switzerland and Turkey, respectively, in the quarter-final.

“I don’t think it’ll be close. I just think we’re coming into form at the right time,” Ferdinand was quoted by Sportskeeda as saying.

“They’ve not even hit the form… they look ugly, worse than us.

“I just think we got too much,” he further stated.
