British broadcaster, Piers Morgan has hailed England winger Bukayo Saka after the Three Lions’ Euro 2024 victory over Switzerland on Saturday.
Morgan branded the Arsenal star as ‘England’s hero’ after his impressive display for Gareth Southgate’s side against Switzerland in the Euro 2024 quarter-final clash.
Recall that Saka scored England’s equalizer against the Swiss to force the match into extra time and eventually penalty shootout.
Saka cancelled out Breel Embolo’s second half opener as the match ended in a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes.
The match then ended 5-3 on penalties in favour of England.
Reacting, Morgan, in a tweet on X, wrote:
“England’s hero… @BukayoSaka87.”
“BOOOOOOM! Never in doubt… what a great set of penalties. Well done England.”
