Rwanda head coach, Torsten Frank Spitller, has reacted to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying draw, DAILY POST reports

The Amavubi are drawn in a tough looking group with Nigeria, Benin Republic and Libya.

Rwanda are also in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying group with the Super Eagles and Squirrels.

Spitller expressed his disappointment with the outcome of the draw.

“It’s actually a little bit sad that we have two teams in the group, Nigeria and Benin, with whom we are playing in the same group in the World Cup qualifiers. But it is at it is,” the gaffer was quoted by the official website of the Rwanda Football Federation.

The AFCON 2025 qualifiers will kick-start in September.
