Chelsea is not including their attacker Nicolas Jackson in any exchange deal this summer transfer window.

This clarification was made by football transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, on Tuesday.

Reports had emerged that Chelsea is keen on signing Alexander Isak from Newcastle United, as they are willing to offer Jackson in their bid to lower the £115million asking price.

It added that the Blues want Isak to lead their attack next season under new manager Enzo Maresca.

Speaking on the development, Romano, however, in a tweet on his X account, said Jackson is very happy at Stamford Bridge.

“Chelsea is not including Nico Jackson in any negotiation as he’s considered an important part of the project.

“Jackson, also very happy at Chelsea and only focused on #CFC.”

Jackson endured a mixed debut season at Chelsea last season after joining from Villarreal.

The Senegal international managed to score 17 goals and provided six assists across all competitions for the Premier League West London club.
