Jonathan Alukwu is on the verge of dumping the Nigeria Premier Football League side, Sporting Lagos for a move abroad.

According to reports, the forward is attracting the interest of an unnamed European side.

Alukwu currently tops the goal scorers chart for Sporting Lagos with six goals.

His partnership with the former NPFL top scorer, Junior Lokosa, has produced nine goals for the modest club.

Alukwu’s purported move is going to be a big blow to the struggling Paul Offor’s side.

Sporting Lagos are currently sliding deep down into the relegation zone after a run of poor results in the NPFL.

The modest side extended their winless run to seven games with a 3-1 defeat against Bendel Insurance on Saturday.

Sporting Lagos currently sit in 17th position after the end of the first half of the season.
