Rivers United forward, Andy Okpe is attracting interest from South African club, Supersports United, according to reports.

Rivers United were reported to have turned down a bid for the highly-rated forward.

Supersports United are understood to be preparing an improved bid for the forward.

Okpe netted eight goals for Rivers United in the just-concluded season.

The 23-year-old started his playing career with Remo Stars and once had a brief stint in the Ghana Premier League.

He has been one of the key performers for Remo Stars in the last two seasons.
