The Cannan Queens of Calabar will play this morning in the finals of African Table Tennis Club championship holding in Benghazi, Libya, having beaten other national clubs.

The match holds by 10 am against Petrojet Table tennis club of Egypt.

The Canaan Queens defeated Benghazi Al-Jadida Table Tennis Club of Libya 3-0 to qualify for the semi-finals.

Nigeria’s international Table Tennis champion, Offiong Edem who plays in France, is the team’s captain.

Members of the Canaan Queens include Cecilia Otu, Hope Udoaka, Vivian Okuand and Fatimo Bello.

Orok Otu Duke, the Cross River NDDC chairman, leads the delegation. While Effioawan Ntiero is the secretary, Tony Ayada is the Team Manager.
