Nasarawa United players have been urged to maintain their current zeal in a bid to secure a promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development gave the green light during a brief meeting with the club’s management in Lafia.

The meeting also addressed the internal issues affecting the team.

The interface was chaired by the Commissioner in charge of the ministry, Jafaru Ango alongside the permanent secretary, Isaac Danladi.

Others present at the meeting are Rilwan Idris and head of the club, Usman Adams.

Nasarawa United currently occupy second position on the Nigeria National League Group C table with 10 points.

The Solid Miners will host NAF FC next on matchday seven at the Lafia City Stadium.

The NNL is expected to resume on Saturday after the festive break.
