Tim Iroegbunam will undergo a medical at Everton on Thursday (today) after the Toffees struck a deal with Aston Villa for his transfer.
Everton, according to various sources, will pay £10m for the midfielder.
Iroegbunam will sign for the Merseysiders, barring any unexpected twists to the deal.
The 20-year-old joined Aston Villa from West Bromwich Albion in 2021.
The playmaker has, however, seen his first team opportunities limited at the Villa Park since his arrival.
Iroegbunam spent the 2022-23 season out on loan with Championship side Queens Park Rangers, where he scored four goals and laid on four assists in 32 appearances.
He played 15 games for Aston Villa last season, two from the start.
