Leicester City have reached an agreement with Steve Cooper to become their new manager, Sky Sports reports.

Cooper is now set to replace Enzo Maresca, who left the King Power Stadium to join Chelsea.

The 44-year-old has been out of work since being sacked by Nottingham Forest last December.

Meanwhile, Leicester City had interviewed former Brighton and Chelsea boss Graham Potter for the job, but both parties failed to reach an agreement.

The Foxes will participate in the 2024/25 Premier League after winning the Championship last season.
