Former Liverpool forward, Ryan Babel has questioned Ajax’s failure to sign Real Madrid attacker, Arda Guler three years ago, even after his recommendation.

Guler scored what has been described as a wonder goal against Georgia in the Euro 2024 on Tuesday, helping his nation to a 3-1 win.

During his active days, Babel played for several clubs in Turkey, including league giants, Galatasaray.

The former Netherlands International claims to have advised Eredivisie giants, Ajax to sign Guler years ago.

He said (via Madrid Xtra), “I told Ajax to sign Arda Guler 3 years ago.”

With their victory over Georgia, Turkey tops the Group F, with Portugal following in second position.
