Nigeria forward, Chidera Ejuke has vowed to help Sevilla return to the top echelon of Spanish football.

Sevilla endured a disappointing campaign last season finishing in 14th position in the LaLiga.

Ejuke was signed on a free transfer by the Rojiblancos on Monday.

The winger is the club’s first summer signing and one which they believed will help them return to the top.

The 26-year-old signed a three-year contract with the Rojiblancos after severing ties with Russian club, CSKA Moscow.

Ejuke is determined to help the club return to the top.

“The club has won lots of trophies in the past years,” he told the club’s official website.

“They are a big club with high ambitions, they always want to be on the top, competing for trophies.

“I think that with the calibre of players in the team, and with me coming in, I know that we will do what we can to get the club back to where they should be.”
