Manchester United are keen on signing Bologna striker, Joshua Zirkzee, according to Sky Germany.

Zirkzee’s release clause is understood to be €40m, which won’t be a problem if United decide to pursue the deal.

United manager, Erik ten Hag, wants to sign the 23-year-old, who is currently with the Netherlands at Euro 2024.

But the Red Devils have opened talks with his representatives.

AC Milan have been unable to agree a deal for Zirkzee and United now have a good chance of moving into pole position.

The forward recorded 12 goals and seven assists as Bologna qualified for the Champions League this season.
