The Nasarawa State Government has doled out the sum of N2 million to Nasarawa United for finishing as runners-up in the just concluded Nigeria National League Super Eight playoff.
The Solid Miners also secured promotion ticket to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, at the competition.
Governor Abdullahi Sule made the donation when he hosted the players and officials in Gudi.
Sule also encouraged the supporters club with N1.5 million.
DAILY POST recalls that Beyond Limits were crowned the winner of the Super Eight tournament.
Other teams that secured promotion to the NPFL are El-Kanemi Warriors and Ikorodu City.
