Barcelona midfielder, Pedri, has heaped praise on Real Madrid star Luka Modric.

Pedro said it is almost impossible to catch the Croatia international adding that it is complicated to take the ball off him.

Modric, who is one of the best midfielders of the modern era, has so far won six UEFA Champions League titles with Real Madrid.

He helped Croatia reach the 2018 FIFA World Cup final and also won the 2018 Ballon d’Or.

“Whenever I have been on the same pitch as Luka Modric you notice that it’s very complicated to take the ball off him- it’s like it’s stuck to his boot! One thing which surprised me, possibly not so noticeable watching on TV, is the rhythm Luka plays at his change of tempo is terrific,” Pedri said (via Madrid Xtra on X).

“He will go from nought to twenty in no time and when you do that on the ball it is almost impossible to catch him.”
