Manchester City are ready to offer Phil Foden a new contract worth a stunning £375,000-a-week, according to the UK Sun.
Foden stepped up as City’s main creative outlet last season, as Kevin De Bruyne missed a chunk of the campaign with injury.
The 24-year-old finished with 19 Premier League goals and provided eight assists, as they won a record-breaking fourth consecutive league title.
The England midfielder was also named FWA Footballer of the Year for the first time.
In 2022, Foden committed his long-term future to his boyhood club by agreeing a five-year contract worth in excess of £200,000-a-week including bonuses.
However, City want to reward him with a significantly improved new deal this summer.
The contract would make Foden the highest-paid British player of all time.
