Plateau United technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut says his team’s failure to react early was the reason for the defeat against Bayelsa United.

The Peace Boys suffered a 3-2 loss against Bayelsa United at the Samson Siasia Stadium on Sunday.

Mangut, however, commended his players for their positive response late in the game.

“At the beginning of the game we tend to be a little bit slow at the reverse end and the Bayelsa United team were able to take their chances,” he stated to the media.

“In the second half with little adjustments in the formation, the boys responded positively well.”

Plateau United currently occupy the sixth position on the table with 51 points.
