UEFA has named Vinícius Júnior of Real Madrid as the Champions League Player of the Season for the 2023/2024 campaign.

This was confirmed by the UEFA’s Technical Observer panel on Monday.

Vinicius scored the second goal as Los Blancos beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0 last Saturday.

In total, the Brazilian scored six goals for the Spanish giants in the competition.

“I’m very happy to be able to win another Champions League with this club, which has given me so much.

“It’s an incredible thing. Not everyone can experience it and win it so many times,” Vinicius said after the win over Dortmund.
