Niger Tornadoes assistant coach, Isiaku Iliasu Kuta has reacted to the team’s home draw against Kwara United.

The Ikon Allah’s boys held Kwara United to a 1-1 draw at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.

Ibrahim Deinde opened scoring for Kwara United, while Bashir Usman levelled scores for the visitors in stoppage time.

Iliasu was not happy with the outcome of the game.

“We planned to win the match, worked hard for it, but we couldn’t get it right,” he stated in a post-match interview.

“It’s a bad day for us. We almost lost it, but our resilience got us the draw.

“The point is much more important to us at this point. It’s massive.”
