Rangers head coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu has praised Kenneth Igboke following his invitation to the Super Eagles.
Igboke was added to the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and the Benin Republic by head coach Finidi George on Tuesday.
The left-back will take the place of Victor Osimhen, who has been ruled out of the games due to injury.
“Congratulations Kenneth Igboke on your first National team call-up. This is a reward for hard work. I have no doubt in your ability from day 1. I believe you will make me and the @Rangers_Intl family proud in the National team. I wish you all the best sabi player. ,” Ilechukwu wrote on X.
The defender has registered three goals for Rangers this season.
He is expected to join up with the Super Eagles this weekend.
