Niger Tornadoes head coach Majin Mohammed has commended his players for sticking to the pre-game plan in the goalless draw against Plateau United.

The Ikon Allah boys held Plateau United to a goalless draw at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday.

The result gave Niger Tornadoes a huge boost in their fight against relegation.

Niger Tornadoes moved three points above the relegation zone following the result.

“We mapped out our strategy, knowing how Plateau United plays, and we stayed back, capitalising on counter-attacks when we got the ball,” Majin said in a post-match interview.

Niger Tornadoes will take on Kwara United in a matchday 34 fixture this weekend.
