Rivers Angels captain, Whyte Ogbonda, has explained the importance of securing maximum points in their clash with Heartland Queens.

Ogbonda stated that a win from the game will give them the opportunity to win the 2024 Nigeria Women Football League title.

Rivers Angels will clash with Heartland Queens at the Nembe City Stadium on Sunday.

The Port Harcourt side face a huge challenge from fellow title contenders Edo Queens and Bayelsa Queens.

“Our mindset is to ensure we get the three points and go home with the trophy, ” she told BSN Sports.

Rivers Angels occupy second position on the table with nine points.
