Rangers legend, Arthur Numan believes Cyriel Dessers can be the hero for the Light Blues in the Scottish Cup final against Celtic.
The Nigeria international has come under intense criticism from Rangers fans and pundits this season despite his impressive goal return.
Dessers has netted 22 times across all competitions for Philippe Clement’s team.
Numan is rooting for the former Feyenoord striker to help the Gers win the Scottish Cup.
“So I hope that Dessers can be that man and score the winning goal. I think that could be a big turning point for him because he has scored a lot of goals but if he scores the winner in a cup final against Celtic then people will always remember that and it will give him a lot of confidence as well for the season,” Numan told Stv.
“It will also give the team a belief that they can go and win the league next season.”
