Former Arsenal striker, Thierry Henry has revealed why Real Madrid defeated Bayern Munich in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final.

The Frenchman questioned Bayern manager, Thomas Tuchel’s decision to withdraw Harry Kane from a game of that magnitude.

Real Madrid came from a goal down very late in the game to beat Bayern Munich 2-1 and 4-3 on aggregate with the first leg having ended 2-2 in Germany.

“You don’t take Kane out in a game like that, because you play against Real Madrid. You’re not playing against any, sorry to say, Mickey Mouse teams. This is Real Madrid, that’s what they do. There’s no luck in that, it’s called Real Madrid. Period,” Henry said.

Bayern Munich showed great spirit as they grabbed the lead in the 68th minute via a lovely goal from Alphonso Davies.

Los Blancos had it all to do in the dying embers with Joselu sealing the hosts’ dramatic late progression.
