Katsina United have embarked on a one- week holiday following a mini-break called by the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The break is to ensure Rivers United play their outstanding fixtures.

The Chanji Boys are expected to return to training on May 13th.

Katsina United secured a safe passage to the next round of the President Federation Cup after humiliating Dutse Strikers 7-1 on Wednesday.

The management of the club appreciate the efforts and performance of all the players so far in this campaign.

Katsina United currently occupy seventh position on the NPFL table with 48 points.

They will take on Bendel Insurance when the league resume later this month.
