Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has said he is ‘happy’ for Jadon Sancho after his impressive display for Borussia Dortmund against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semi-final first-leg tie on Wednesday.
Sancho was banished from Manchester United after falling out with Ten Hag over his training performance levels earlier this season.
The England star has rediscovered his best after returning to his old club, Dortmund, on loan.
Sancho was instrumental in Dortmund’s 1-0 win against Paris Saint-Germain.
Asked about the player’s performance, Ten Hag said ahead of Man United’s clash with Crystal Palace on Monday:
“So let’s say this: yesterday he played very good and he’s a very good player. Yesterday, he showed why Manchester United bought him and he showed he represents a high value for Manchester United. Which is good.
“I’m happy for Jadon for the performance yesterday and we will see what is going to happen in the future.”
