Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti has singled out two of his players for praise following their Champions League semi finals first leg 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich.

The highly entertaining first leg of the Champion League semi finals ended in a 2-2 draw at the Allianz Arena.

Real Madrid took the lead through Vinicius Jr, but his goal was cancelled out by Leroy Sane before Harry Kane put the home side in front.

However, Vinicius Jr converted from the penalty spot late in the game.

Ancelotti was impressed by the performances of Toni Kroos against his former club and Vinicius Jr’s movement.

“Toni Kroos… no words for him. He’s a top player. He’s crucial for us, the timing, the passes…” he told reporters after the game.

“His pass is not for everyone, absolutely. But also Vini’s movement was smart, excellent”.
