Kwara United have appealed the fine imposed on the club by the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

The Harmony Boys were fined N6 million for the disruption of the live broadcast of their matchday 31 fixture against Akwa United last weekend.

Kwara United made this known in a chat with DAILY POST.

“We have already appealed the fine by the NPFL,” Kwara United media officer, Jimoh Bashir stated.

“We await response from the league body.”

DAILY POST reports that Kwara United were also charged for allegedly providing false information which led to the adjustment of the date for their clash against Bayelsa United.
