Remo Stars head coach Daniel Ogunmodede says Plateau United were lucky to beat his side in their Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 31 encounter.

The Sky Blue Stars suffered a 1-0 loss against the Peace Boys at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday.

Sunday Anthony grabbed the winning goal for Plateau United.

“We know how much Plateau United needed the game, they brought the fight to us,” Ogunmodede reacted in a post-match interview.

“We were able to contain them in the first half of the game. In the second half they came out consistently putting pressure on us which we tried to contain.

“But at the end they were lucky to go home with the maximum points and we Remo Stars were very unlucky not to get something from the game.”

Remo Stars dropped down to fifth position in the table.
