Plateau United technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut believes that his team’s victory over Remo Stars will play a key role in achieving their target for the season.

Sunday Anthony’s strike gave Plateau United a 1-0 win over Remo Stars at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday.

Mangut says the team showed a positive reaction after their matchday 30 defeat against Rivers United.

He pointed that the win will keep the team focused ahead of the remaining matches in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

“The reactions showed that Plateau United are getting back our unity as a team,” he told the club’s media.

“The result will make us focus in the remaining matches of the NPFL.”

Plateau United have recorded 50 points from 31 games, and they occupy fourth position on the NPFL table.
