Cyriel Dessers is upbeat that Rangers can win the Scottish Premiership title after they battled to a thrilling 3-3 draw against rivals Celtic on Sunday.
The Light Blues trailed 2-0 at half-time but came back stronger to earn a share of the spoils.
Rangers occupy second position on the table one point behind Celtic but have an outstanding game.
Philippe Clement’s side will face Dundee United in their outstanding fixture on Wednesday and victory in the game will see them move to the summit.
Dessers, who bagged an assist in the thrilling draw against Celtic has urged his teammates to keep fighting till the end.
“We showed on Sunday we can score three goals against a good team. Also in the previous two games, obviously we lost, but I don’t think it was fully deserved,” the Nigeria international was quoted by Football Scotland.
“We showed we can hurt them and if we’re a little more lucky, like with their first goal on Sunday, and then we can take our moments then we can get a good win there. Obviously, it is very close. I think we saw that quality-wise we are also very close to each other. I hope after Wednesday that I can say that we are on top of the league.”
Dessers has scored 13 goals in 28 league appearances for Rangers this season.
