Asisat Oshoala could also sit out the Super Falcons 2024 Olympic Games qualifier return leg against Banyana Banyana of South Africa.

Oshoala was named among the substitutes in the first leg in Abuja after arriving camp a day to the match.

Head coach Randy Waldrum claimed the forward was not ready for the game and has refused to guarantee if she will see action in the reverse fixture.

“I feel she was not prepared for the game and I am not sure of her for the return game,” Waldrum told reporters.

Meanwhile, the Super Falcons will depart for South Africa tonight for the second leg of the final qualifying round fixture.

The West Africans hold a 1-0 lead from the first leg.
