Manchester City ace, Kevin de Bruyne has revealed that he told teammates Erling Haaland and Phil Foden that he wants to score 100 goals for the club before them.

De Bruyne spoke after he led Man City to beat Crystal Palace 4-1 in Saturday’s Premier League clash.

Recall that De Bruyne scored a brace as Pep Guardiola’s side defeated Palace.

His teammates Haaland and Rico Lewis also scored for City.

“Yeah, it’s funny. I had a conversation with Erling [Haaland] and Phil [Foden] and said the only goal I want is to score 100 before you guys,” the Belgian told the club’s website

He added, “Erling was like 18 behind but he would probably score that in two games.

“It’s a proud moment. It means that I’ve had longevity here. It means a lot of good moments for this club.”
