Arsenal Legend, Martin Keown has identified defenders, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes to become Premier League’s best-ever centre-back pairing if the Gunners win this season’s title.

Keown said this while commending the performances of Saliba and Gabriel, who have been instrumental in Arsenal’s solid defensive displays this season.

The pair have helped Arsenal achieve the most clean sheets (13) and concede the fewest goals (24) in the Premier League this season.

“At 26 and 23, Gabriel and Saliba are young enough to become one of the Premier League’s best-ever centre-back pairings,” Keown wrote in his column for Daily Mail (via The Boot Room).

“Especially if they can secure this title.”
