Burundi referee, Pacifique Ndabihawenimana will take charge of Sunday’s CAF Confederation Cup second-leg quarter-final clash between Algerian side USM Alger and Rivers United.
The experienced referee has been on the FIFA list since 2013 and has taken charge of matches in this year’s CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup, as well as the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
He also officiated the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League final between Kaizer Chiefs and Al Ahly.
Ndabihawenimana will be assisted by Sudanese Mohammed Ibrahim (Assistant l) and Liban Ahmed (Assistant ll) from Djibouti.
Ahmad Heeralall from Mauritania will serve as the fourth official.
Kenyan’s Peter Kamaku will be in charge of the Video Assistant Referee while South African Abongile Tom will be his assistant.
The encounter will be played at the Stade du Julliet in Algiers on Sunday.
The Pride of Rivers defeated USMA 1-0 in the first leg last weekend.
