Sporting Lagos head coach, Paul Offor has apologised to the club’s supporters following the team’s ouster from the 2024 Federation Cup.

Sporting Lagos were knocked out by Nigeria National League side, Inter Lagos in the semi-final of the Lagos State Federation Cup.

“I sincerely apologize to our amazing fans of Sporting Lagos for our performance against Inter Lagos.

“You all deserve better and we’ll continue to work hard to ensure better performance and results,” he told BSN sports.

Sporting Lagos will shift focus to their Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 28 fixture against Lobi Stars on Wednesday.

The game is billed for the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.
