Chelsea have recalled David Datro Fofana from his loan spell at Union Berlin, according to the Evening Standard.
Fofana was one of the first players to leave Stamford Bridge with manager Mauricio Pochettino preferring other options.
During his time with the Blues, the 21-year-old made 10 starts and six substitute appearances.
Fofana was able to score only once, before leaving for Germany’s top flight.
Chelsea, on Wednesday announced that Fofana had been recalled, without any indication of their future plans for a player that has been contracted to the club for just over 12 months.
Over the past week, it has been widely reported that Sevilla have been discussing taking over the terms of the loan agreement with their Chelsea counterparts.
