Sporting Lagos head coach Paul Offor is full of praise for stand-in goalkeeper Nathaniel Asibe, following his impressive debut for the club.

Asibe made his debut for the club in the 2-0 defeat to Enyimba last weekend.

The young goalie replaced the injured Christian Nwosu in the game.

Offor believed that the shot-stopper showcased his quality despite the defeat against the People’s Elephant.

“Asibe’s performance was impressive, as he showcased his quality during the game,” he told the club’s media.

“He can only get better because he is young and still growing.”

Asibe will be hoping to add to his appearance when Sporting Lagos host Shooting Stars in the South West Derby next Monday.
