Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has said their upcoming clash with eternal rivals Ghana will not be treated like a friendly, DAILY POST reports.
The two teams have a long history of rivalry between them which date back to decades.
The West African giants will battle for supremacy once again at the Grand Stade de Marrakech, Morocco, on Friday.
Omeruo reckoned it’s not always a friendly affair when both teams meet.
The Kasimpasa, Turkey defender also reflected on the team’s preparation for the game against Otto Addo’s men.
“Preparation has been great, it’s good to be back in camp again after the AFCON. I’m happy to see the likes of Ndidi, who was missing and the other boys again,” Omeruo told the Super Eagles media.
“It’s been good, we are training and working hard, working on our tactics to win this game. You know it’s usually not a friendly game against Ghana. We are ready and will go all out to win the game.”
The game will kick-off at 5 pm Nigeria time.
