Arsenal winger, Bukayo Saka, on Thursday withdrew from the England squad due to injury.

Saka has been in superb form for the Gunners this season as they sit top of the Premier League.

Mikel Arteta’s men will face champions Manchester City after the international break and preparing for a Champions League quarter-final clash with Bayern Munich.

But the 22-year-old will miss friendly matches against Brazil on Saturday and Belgium on Tuesday.

It is believed Saka has withdrawn as a precaution, due to a minor muscle issue and will be assessed back at Arsenal in the coming days.

“Bukayo Saka has left the England camp and returned to his club for continued rehabilitation,” the Football Association said in a statement on Thursday.
