Former lawmaker Senator Shehu Sani has suggested that the ongoing political crisis in Rivers State is expensive for Governor Siminalayi Fubara and Federal Capital Territory, FCT, minister Nyesom Wike.

Sani made this known in a post on his X handle on Saturday, amidst ongoing political crisis in Rivers State over the Saturday’s local government election.

Sani explained that the crisis is expensive because everyday money has to be spent to buy and keep loyalists, and to defend political territories.

“Rivers political crisis is expensive for the Governor, expensive for the Minister and expensive for the people of the state.

“Everyday money has to be spent to buy loyalists, to keep loyalists and to defend political territories. A state richly blessed with enormous wealth and endless troubles,” he posted on X.
