Fox News’ Laura Ingraham found herself the subject of ridicule on social media after her attempt to slam Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz backfired.

The pro-Trump Ingraham and members of her panel were on Wednesday trying to rip Walz’s record as Minnesota governor when the prime-time personality, who has peddled white nationalist talking points for years, boldly declared: “If you know Minnesota, and I know it well, especially Milwaukee, it’s changed.”

People on social media spotted a major flaw with that line of attack.

Namely, that Milwaukee is in Wisconsin.

“Rejoice Minnesota Vikings fans living in enemy territory. Apparently, Milwaukee is part of Minnesota,” the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel mockingly reported the gaffe.

Critics on X, formerly Twitter, fact-checked Ingraham over the flub.
