The immediate past chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr Michael Tidi, has described the ongoing Delta State council election as peaceful.
Tidi spoke with newsmen shortly after casting his vote at Edjeba Ward, Unit 9, Ward 10.
He stressed that the election was peaceful across the state, describing the turn out of voters as “impressive”.
While pointing out that the presence of security agents was massive, Tidi commended the Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Olufemi Abaniwonda, for adequately deploying his men in ensuring that the exercise is very peaceful.
Tidi commended eligible voters for their massive turnout to vote for the elections.
“That was very good and we are quite sure of victory for our party. From the information we’ve gotten so far, we already coasting to victory. So, I want to thank them.”
