Donald Trump’s former attorney general, William Barr, had a bit of the giggles during a Fox News appearance on Monday.
Neil Cavuto was interviewing Barr about the Supreme Court’s ruling on presidential immunity when Barr referenced Steve Bannon. Bannon had recently suggested the former attorney general could be a target in a future Trump administration for criticizing the former president after the Jan. 6 insurrection.
“Bannon says I’m the first to go to prison under President Trump,” Barr noted. “I’m not losing any sleep over it. I’m not worried about that.”
“I think he’s in prison right now, himself,” Cavuto replied, referring to Bannon’s surrender to federal authorities on Monday.
It took a second for Barr to react, but he guffawed at Cavuto’s remark, as you can see in the video below at around the 1:12 mark.
