In a show of solidarity, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State, Tony Okocha, on Friday visited members of the Martins Amaewhule-led faction of the House of Assembly.
During the visit on Friday, Okocha assured them of unwavering support from the leadership and members of the APC in Rivers State.
Addressing the group, Okocha condemned the recent incidents of alleged intimidation from Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
In a statement he signed, Okocha reiterated the importance of the Assembly’s role in legislating for the state, urging members to remain resolute in their duty to enact meaningful laws.
He reaffirmed the APC’s commitment to standing with the Assembly members during challenging times.
