Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, aka Ruger, has explained why he is getting booked for shows more than some of his colleagues.

According to him, he does not just perform his songs but also showcases his personality whenever he’s on stage.

He explained that being a successful performer requires more than just having hit songs.

He emphasised that an artiste can have millions of hit songs and still be clueless on stage.

On his X handle, Ruger wrote: “Let me explain to you why I get booked so much. I don’t come on stage to sing (of which I know l’m so good at) I bring my whole fucking personality on stage it’s not a joke

“It’s not by having hit songs  you can have a million hit songs and still be clueless on stage at a 200-capacity venue.”
