Maverick singer, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has commended the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, for being present at the fans stand during Nigeria’s 1-0 victory over Angola at the ongoing African Cup of Nations, on Friday.
DAILY POST reports that Obi was in Abidjan, the capital of Cote d’Ivoire, for the Super Eagles quarterfinal match against Angola.
Reacting on Saturday, Charly hailed the former Anambra State governor for being in the fan stand and not inside “a bulletproof cabin.”
Sharing a clip of Obi at the fans stand during the match, Charly Boy wrote: “Nigeria vs Angola Quarter Finals, he was there live with fans, not inside a bulletproof cabin. 1-0. We move.”
