Colin Jost hit back at Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) on “Weekend Update” for dancing around a question on whether Donald Trump lost the 2020 presidential election.

The “SNL” news segment’s co-anchor turned to a clip of Vance as he attempted to dodge the question on his running mate’s loss in a recent interview with The New York Times’ Lulu Garcia-Navarro.

“I’m going to ask you again. Did Donald Trump lose the 2020 election?” Garcia-Navarro asked.

“I’ve answered your question with another question,” Vance replied.

The Ohio senator had previously responded with talk of Hunter Biden’s laptop and questioned if technology companies worked to “censor a story that independent studies have suggested would have cost Trump millions of votes.”

Jost swiftly mocked the reply from Trump’s vice presidential pick.

“Then Vance offered to move the interview under a bridge so he could answer in the form of a riddle,” Jost quipped.

“You can’t answer questions with questions. If a cop asks, ‘Have you been drinking?,’ you can’t ask him, ‘Have you been drinking, occifer?’”
